Csilla is a Resource Consultant on the Inclusion Team of Children’s Developmental Services at Halton Region.
Csilla is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with 20 years experience supporting inclusion in early years settings. She works with educators and families to support children with special needs to reach their full abilities. Csilla has a special interest in early identification and strives to connect educators and families with the right resources and supports in our community.
Halton Region Inclusion Services provides support in licensed child care centres, licensed home care, and before and after school programs to children with a special needs diagnosis or a developmental concern. Resource Consultants work directly with educators to support child development and the inclusion of all children in the classroom.

Workshop
RECEs play an important role in promoting and monitoring child development and can help identify concerns early through developmental monitoring. Early identification of developmental concerns supports early referral to intervention services. This can significantly improve outcomes for children.
This workshop will:
- Introduce simple tools to monitor children’s development
- Outline how to incorporate developmental temperature taking in your setting
- Discuss strategies to share concerns with parents.
