I have been with the Region of Halton for 21 years in the capacity of RECE.
I recently have obtained a post graduate certificate for ECE - Resource Consultant
In February 2022, I had the opportunity to fufill an 18 month contract position in the Region of Halton's Inclusion Services Team as a Resource Consultant.
I have recently returned to my RECE position in the Toddler program at Maple Avenue Regional Child Care Centre

Workshop
RECEs play an important role in promoting and monitoring child development and can help identify concerns early through developmental monitoring. Early identification of developmental concerns supports early referral to intervention services. This can significantly improve outcomes for children.
This workshop will:
- Introduce simple tools to monitor children’s development
- Outline how to incorporate developmental temperature taking in your setting
- Discuss strategies to share concerns with parents.
